The family company DECOLED was founded in 1997 by Vítězslav Poláček. He was soon joined by his wife Eva Poláčková and son Vítězslav Poláček Jr. During more than a quarter of a century, the DECOLED company has developed into a domestic leader in decorative lighting with orders in thirteen European countries. It employs up to two hundred employees during the season. Nevertheless, she was able to maintain a personal approach and great emphasis on the quality of each individual order.
